1. 요약
Wifi-mate에 입력한 와이파이 네트워크 정보(이름·비밀번호·보안방식 등)는
오직 사용자의 기기 내부에만 저장되며 개발자에게 전송되지 않습니다.
우리는 서버·계정·로그인이 없습니다. 단, 무료 제공을 위해 앱에는 Google AdMob
광고가 포함되며, 광고 제공·측정을 위해 Google이 광고 식별자 등 일부 정보를
수집·이용할 수 있습니다(아래 5항).
2. 기기에 저장되는 정보 (콘텐츠 전송 없음)
앱은 기능 제공을 위해 다음을 기기 로컬 저장소(앱 내부)에만 보관합니다.
- 와이파이 네트워크 이름(SSID)·비밀번호·보안방식(WPA/WEP/개방형)·숨김 여부
- 사용자가 지정한 이름표(라벨)와 카드 이모지
- 선택한 언어, 광고 제거 구매 여부
이 정보는 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다. QR 코드는 저장된 정보로 기기에서 즉시
생성되며, 어디로도 전송되지 않습니다.
3. 권한
- 위치(ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION):
‘현재 와이파이 불러오기’ 기능에서 현재 연결된 네트워크 이름(SSID)을
확인하기 위해서만 사용합니다. 안드로이드는 보안 정책상 SSID 조회에 위치 권한을
요구합니다. 위치 정보 자체는 직접 수집·저장하지 않으며(광고 식별자 등은 Google AdMob이 처리), 이 기능을
사용하지 않으면 권한을 허용하지 않아도 나머지 기능은 모두 동작합니다.
- 카메라 권한은 사용하지 않습니다. (QR은 손님이 자신의 카메라로 스캔합니다.)
4. 네트워크
앱은 사용자가 입력한 와이파이 정보를 우리 서버로 전송하지 않습니다. 다만
광고 표시와 글꼴 표시(Google Fonts)를 위해 네트워크 통신이
발생합니다. 글꼴은 파일 요청만 이뤄지며 개인정보가 전송되지 않습니다.
5. 광고 / 제3자 (Google AdMob)
- 본 앱은 무료 제공을 위해 Google AdMob 광고(배너·전면·보상형)를 표시합니다.
- 광고 제공·게재 빈도 제한·측정·부정클릭 방지 등을 위해 Google은
광고 식별자(Advertising ID), 기기 정보, 대략적 위치(IP 기반),
앱 상호작용 정보 등을 수집·이용할 수 있으며, 이 데이터는
Google이 제3자로서 처리합니다.

- 맞춤 광고 거부·광고 ID 재설정: 기기의 설정 > 개인정보 보호 > 광고에서
광고 ID를 재설정하거나 맞춤 광고를 끌 수 있습니다.
- 광고 외 별도의 분석(애널리틱스) SDK는 사용하지 않습니다.
6. 인앱 결제
광고 제거(remove_ads)는 Google Play 결제로 처리되며, 앱은 결제·카드 정보를
저장하지 않습니다.
7. 아동
앱은 특정 연령을 겨냥하지 않으며, 어떠한 개인정보도 수집하지 않으므로
아동의 개인정보를 직접 수집하지 않습니다.
8. 변경
정책이 바뀌면 본 문서의 ‘최종 수정일’과 함께 갱신합니다.

The Wi-Fi details you enter (name and password) stay on your device —
we never send them to our servers. (The app includes Google AdMob ads to stay free.)
1. Summary
The Wi-Fi network details you enter into Wifi-mate (name, password, security type, etc.)
are stored only on your device and are never sent to the developer. We have no
server, account, or login. However, to keep the app free, it includes Google AdMob
ads, and Google may collect and use certain information (such as advertising
identifiers) to serve and measure ads (see §5).
2. Information stored on your device (never transmitted)
For the app to work, the following is kept only in local on-device storage:
- Wi-Fi network name (SSID), password, security type (WPA/WEP/open), and hidden flag
- Your custom label and card emoji
- Selected language and remove-ads purchase state
This data is deleted when you uninstall the app. QR codes are generated on-device from
the stored details and are never transmitted anywhere.
3. Permissions
- Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): used only by the
“detect current Wi-Fi” feature to read the name (SSID) of the network you are
connected to. Android requires location permission to read the SSID for security
reasons. Location itself is never collected, stored, or transmitted, and if you
don't use this feature, the rest of the app works without granting the permission.
- The app does not use the camera. (Guests scan the QR with their own camera.)
4. Network
The app does not send the Wi-Fi details you enter to our servers. Network communication
does occur to display ads and to render fonts (Google Fonts). The font
request transfers only a font file, no personal data.
5. Ads / Third parties (Google AdMob)
- To keep the app free, it shows Google AdMob ads (banner, interstitial, and rewarded).
- To serve, frequency-cap, measure, and protect against invalid activity, Google may
collect and use the Advertising ID, device information, approximate (IP-based)
location, and app-interaction data. This data is processed by Google as a third
party.

- Opt out / reset ad ID: in your device Settings > Privacy > Ads
you can reset your Advertising ID or turn off personalized ads.
- No separate analytics SDK beyond advertising is used.
6. In-app purchases
Remove Ads (remove_ads) is processed through Google Play billing; the app does not store
payment or card information.
7. Children
The app does not target a specific age group and collects no personal data, so it does
not knowingly collect children's personal information.
