Half of Me has no account or login. Your captured or selected photos and all face analysis are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to any server.
2. Camera & Photos
- The camera is used only to take a single still photo when you press the shutter. It does not record video, stream, or capture in the background.
- Choosing from your gallery uses the system photo picker; only the one image you pick is passed to the app.
- Face symmetry analysis runs on-device with Google ML Kit face detection. Face images and coordinates are not uploaded.
3. Storage & Sharing
- Result images and history are stored only in the app's local storage on your device, and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app.
