Talkrewind

최종 업데이트: 2026-09-14 · 앱: Talkrewind(com.dksequence.talkrewind) · 개발자: DKsequence(디케이시퀀스) · 문의: kitan98@gmail.com

• 알림 표시(POST_NOTIFICATIONS) · 부팅 후 실행(RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) — 기기를 다시 켠 뒤에도 보관 기능이 이어지게 합니다.

• Firebase Analytics —
• Google Play

9. 변경

Talkrewind Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-14 · App: Talkrewind (com.dksequence.talkrewind) · Developer: DKsequence · Contact: kitan98@gmail.com

1. What this app does

Talkrewind keeps the messaging notifications that arrive on your phone (KakaoTalk, SMS, Telegram and other supported messengers) on your device, so you can read a message again after it was deleted in the original app or after you left the chat. It works only after you agree on the in-app consent screen and turn on notification access yourself in Android settings.

2. Information stored

• Message notification content — the sending app, chat name, sender name, the message text shown in the notification, and the time it arrived. It is stored only in a database on this device and is never sent anywhere, including to the developer.
• Excluded from device backup — the app disables backup so saved content is not copied by Google Drive auto-backup or device-to-device transfer.
• App settings (retention period, language, app lock on or off) are kept on your device only. Fingerprint recognition is handled by Android; the app never receives fingerprint data.
• Messages that did not arrive as a notification, messages from before install, muted chats and messages you send are not stored. Notifications from apps that are not supported messengers are not saved.

3. The developer receives nothing

There is no sign-up or login, and the app has no feature that sends saved messages to a server. The developer cannot see your messages or notifications.

4. Permissions

• Notification access (notification listener) — the core feature: reading messaging notifications and keeping them on your device. You can turn it off in settings at any time.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS and RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to keep the feature running after the device restarts.
• Biometrics — used only for the fingerprint or PIN app lock, when you turn it on.
• INTERNET, AD_ID and BILLING — for ads, app usage statistics and the ad-removal purchase. They are never used to send saved messages.

5. Third-party services

• Google AdMob — ad serving; processes the advertising identifier and device information. Google Privacy Policy
• Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage statistics such as installs and app opens. It contains no message or notification content.
• Google Play Billing — ad-removal purchase; the app only checks whether it is owned.

Users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent form (UMP) for ad personalisation.

6. Retention and deletion

Saved notifications are deleted automatically after the period you choose in settings (15, 30, 60, 90, 150 or 200 days; 90 by default). You can delete them in the app, and uninstalling the app removes everything stored on the device. The developer keeps no data, so no separate deletion request is needed.

7. Children

This app is not directed to children under 13. It does not participate in the Designed for Families programme.

8. No affiliation

Talkrewind is not affiliated with Kakao, Meta, Telegram or any messaging company.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the last-updated date on this page will change with it.

Data retention

Records created by this app are stored only on the user's device. The developer does not receive them on any server and does not retain them. Data on the device remains until the chosen retention period ends, the user deletes it in the app, or the app is uninstalled. Advertising identifiers used for ads are handled by Google and its advertising partners under their own policies and retention periods; the developer does not retain them.
