Boxsize(패키지 com.dksequence.boxsize)는 계정·로그인이 없고, 개발자가 운영하는 서버가 없습니다.

전체 파일 접근(MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) 권한은 쓰지 않습니다.

Storage sizes, app sizes and app usage history are read and shown only on your device — never sent to a developer server. The app includes Google AdMob ads to stay free and Google Firebase Analytics (usage statistics) to improve the app.

1. No developer server

Boxsize (package com.dksequence.boxsize) has no account, no login and no server operated by the developer. The information in section 2 is processed only on your device and is never sent to the developer.

2. Information read on your device (not transmitted)

  • Photos, videos, audio and downloaded files: file name, size and modified date are read from the Android MediaStore and listed largest-first. Only files you select and confirm for deletion are deleted from the device (deletion cannot be undone). File contents are never sent anywhere.
  • The app's own storage: shown as installed package, app data and cache.
  • Installed apps' sizes and usage history: if you turn on "Usage access" in device Settings, the app reads each installed app's size (app + data + cache) and the date it was last shown on screen / its usage history, and shows them as largest-apps, unused-apps and messenger (KakaoTalk, LINE, Telegram, WhatsApp) boxes. Messenger boxes show the media that messenger saved to your photo and video folders and let you delete selected items. Tapping an app box opens that app's OS "App info" screen; clearing its cache is done there by you.
  • Storage trend, alert and widget: daily usage snapshots are stored on the device to show "this week's change", a once-a-day notification is shown when free space runs low, and a home-screen widget displays usage.

The app does not request "All files access" (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). The information above is read on the device and drawn on screen; it is not collected by the developer.

3. Third-party services

  • Google AdMob (ads): to keep the app free it shows banner, interstitial and rewarded ads, and may collect device information such as the Advertising ID to serve and measure ads. This data is processed by Google. (Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses partner-app data) You can opt out of personalized ads or reset the ad ID in device Settings > Google > Ads.
  • Google Firebase Analytics (usage statistics): events such as app launches and screen use, the app instance ID, device model, OS version and approximate region are sent to Google so the developer can see anonymous statistics. File lists, app usage history and storage values are not sent.
  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): asks for ad privacy consent where required (e.g. EEA and UK).
  • Google Play Billing: the one-time "Remove ads" purchase is processed by Google Play. The developer never receives payment details; only whether you purchased is stored on the device.

4. Children

This app is not directed at children. If you believe a child's information has been processed, please contact us below.

5. Data retention and deletion

The developer does not receive your files, app list or usage history on any server and does not retain them. Settings, purchase status and storage-trend snapshots are stored only on the device and are deleted when you uninstall the app. You can turn off Usage access and notifications in device Settings at any time, and reset the Advertising ID there. Retention of data processed by Firebase and AdMob follows Google's policies.
