1. 이 앱이 하는 일

수식으로 리듬을 만들고 곡을 쌓아 쇼츠 영상·WAV·MIDI로 내보내는 음악 제작 앱입니다. 마이크 녹음(루퍼·비트박스 샘플러), 오디오 파일 불러오기, AI 보컬/반주 분리, DJ 믹스 기능이 있습니다. 회원가입·로그인이 없습니다.

2. 수집하는 정보

• 개발자는 이용자의 개인정보를 직접 수집하지 않으며, 개발자의 서버가 없습니다(아래 사용 통계 제외).
• 곡, 녹음한 소리, 불러온 오디오, 설정은 이 기기 안의 앱 전용 저장소에만 보관되며 개발자에게 전송되지 않습니다.
• 만든 영상·믹스·MIDI 파일은 이용자가 내보내기·저장·공유를 직접 누를 때만 기기의 «Movies/HowTheBeat», «Download/HowTheBeat» 폴더에 저장되거나 이용자가 고른 앱으로 공유됩니다.

3. 권한

• 마이크(RECORD_AUDIO): 이용자가 마이크 녹음·루퍼·비트박스 샘플러·지연 측정을 켤 때만 사용합니다. 소리는 기기 안에서만 처리·저장됩니다.
• 인터넷(INTERNET): AI 분리 모델을 처음 한 번 내려받을 때, 그리고 광고·사용 통계·인앱 결제에 사용합니다.
• 파일 불러오기: 시스템 파일 선택기로 이용자가 고른 오디오 파일(WAV·MP3·FLAC)만 읽어 기기 안의 곡에 넣습니다.
• USB MIDI 건반: 연결된 건반의 음 정보(누른 음·세기)만 받아 연주에 씁니다.
• 알림(POST_NOTIFICATIONS) · 부팅 완료(RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): 앱을 7일 동안 열지 않았을 때 한 번 알려 주는 알림에만 사용합니다. 알림은 기기 안에서 만들어지고 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 앱 설정에서 끌 수 있습니다. 기기를 다시 켠 뒤에도 예약이 유지되도록 부팅 완료 신호를 받습니다.

4. AI 보컬/반주 분리

• 처음 사용할 때 분리 모델 파일(약 39 MB, 공개 모델 Spleeter)을 Hugging Face(huggingface.co)에서 내려받아 기기에 저장합니다. 이때 일반적인 웹 요청 정보(IP 주소 등)가 해당 서버에 전달될 수 있으며, Hugging Face의 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다: https://huggingface.co/privacy
• 분리 작업은 전부 이 기기 안에서 이루어집니다. 이용자의 음악 파일은 어디에도 업로드되지 않습니다.

5. 광고(Google AdMob)

• 쇼츠·DJ 영상을 만들 때마다 광고 1개(보상형 광고, 준비되지 않았으면 전면 광고)와, AI 분리를 하루 무료 횟수보다 더 쓰고 싶을 때 이용자가 고르는 보상형 광고를 표시합니다. PRO 구매 시 광고가 표시되지 않습니다.
• AdMob은 광고 제공·측정을 위해 광고 식별자(Advertising ID) 등 기기 정보를 수집할 수 있습니다(Google 정책). AdMob 미디에이션을 통해 Unity Ads와 Liftoff Monetize(Vungle)가 광고 입찰에 참여하며, 각 사 정책에 따라 광고 식별자·기기 정보 등을 처리할 수 있습니다(Unity · Liftoff).
• 유럽경제지역(EEA)·영국 등 동의가 필요한 지역에서는 Google의 동의 관리 도구(UMP)를 통해 광고 맞춤 설정에 대한 동의를 묻고, 앱 설정의 «광고 개인정보 선택»에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다.

사용 통계(Google Firebase 애널리틱스): 앱 개선을 위해 앱 실행·화면 이용 같은 이벤트, 앱 인스턴스 ID, 기기 종류·OS 버전·대략적 지역을 Google에 보내 개발자가 익명 통계로 봅니다. 곡·녹음·불러온 오디오·만든 영상은 보내지 않습니다.

6. 인앱 결제

«HOW THE BEAT PRO» 구매는 Google Play 결제로 처리됩니다. 결제 수단 정보는 Google이 처리하며 개발자는 접근하지 않습니다.

7. 제3자 제공

위의 Google AdMob(미디에이션 파트너 Unity Ads·Liftoff Monetize 포함)·Google Firebase 애널리틱스·Google Play 결제·Google Play 앱 평가 창, 그리고 AI 분리 모델을 내려받는 Hugging Face 외에 이용자 정보를 제3자에게 제공하거나 판매하지 않습니다.

8. 데이터 보관 / 삭제

• 데이터 보관: 곡·녹음·설정은 개발자가 수집·보관하지 않으며 이 기기에만 보관됩니다. 보관 기간은 이용자가 삭제하기 전까지입니다.
• 앱 안에서 곡을 삭제할 수 있고, 앱을 삭제하거나 기기 설정에서 앱 데이터를 지우면 기기 안의 모든 자료(내려받은 AI 모델 포함)가 함께 삭제됩니다. Movies·Download 폴더에 저장한 파일은 그 폴더에서 따로 지워야 합니다.

9. 아동

이 앱은 아동을 주 대상으로 하지 않으며, 개발자가 아동의 개인정보를 직접 수집하지 않습니다.

1. What the app does

A music-making app that builds rhythms from formulas, layers them into songs and exports shorts videos, WAV and MIDI. It includes microphone recording (looper, beatbox sampler), audio file import, AI vocal/instrumental split and DJ mixing. No sign-up or login is required.

2. Information we collect

• The developer does not directly collect your personal information and does not operate a server (except the usage statistics below).
• Songs, recorded sounds, imported audio and settings are stored only in the app's private storage on this device and are not sent to the developer.
• Videos, mixes and MIDI files are saved to the device's “Movies/HowTheBeat” and “Download/HowTheBeat” folders, or shared to an app you choose, only when you tap export, save or share.

3. Permissions

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): used only when you turn on mic recording, the looper, the beatbox sampler or the latency test. Sound is processed and stored on this device only.
• Internet (INTERNET): used once to download the AI split model, and for ads, usage statistics and in-app purchase.
• File import: the app reads only the audio file you choose (WAV, MP3, FLAC) through the system file picker and adds it to a song on this device.
• USB MIDI keyboard: the app receives only note data (which key, how hard) from a connected keyboard to play sounds.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) and boot completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): used only for one reminder when you have not opened the app for 7 days. The reminder is created on this device and is not sent to any server; you can turn it off in Settings. The boot signal keeps the reminder scheduled after the device restarts.

4. AI vocal/instrumental split

• On first use, the split model files (about 39 MB, the public Spleeter model) are downloaded from Hugging Face (huggingface.co) and stored on the device. Standard web request information (such as your IP address) may reach that server, under Hugging Face's privacy policy: https://huggingface.co/privacy
• Splitting runs entirely on this device. Your music files are never uploaded anywhere.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

• Shows one ad each time you make a short or DJ video (a rewarded ad, or an interstitial ad when no rewarded ad is available), and an optional rewarded ad you can choose for one extra AI split beyond the daily limit. Ads are not shown after a PRO purchase.
• AdMob may collect device information such as the Advertising ID to serve and measure ads (Google policy). Through AdMob mediation, Unity Ads and Liftoff Monetize (Vungle) take part in ad bidding and may process advertising identifiers and device information under their own policies (Unity · Liftoff).
• Where consent is required (such as the EEA and UK), Google's consent tool (UMP) asks for consent to personalized ads, and you can change it any time under “Ad privacy choices” in the app's Settings.

Usage statistics (Google Firebase Analytics): to improve the app, events such as app launches and screen use, the app instance ID, device model, OS version and approximate region are sent to Google so the developer can see anonymous statistics. Songs, recordings, imported audio and videos you make are not sent.

6. In-app purchase

The “HOW THE BEAT PRO” purchase is processed by Google Play billing. Google handles payment details; the developer has no access to them.

7. Sharing with third parties

Apart from Google AdMob (including its mediation partners Unity Ads and Liftoff Monetize), Google Firebase Analytics, Google Play billing, the Google Play in-app review window and Hugging Face (for the AI split model download), we do not share or sell your information.

8. Data retention / deletion

• Data retention: songs, recordings and settings are not collected or kept by the developer; they stay only on this device until you delete them.
• You can delete songs in the app. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data in device settings removes everything stored by the app on this device, including the downloaded AI model. Files saved to the Movies or Download folders must be deleted there separately.

9. Children

This app is not directed primarily at children, and the developer does not directly collect children's personal information.
