When The Beats는 계정·로그인 없이 동작하며, 개발자가 이름·이메일 등 이용자를 식별하는 정보를 직접 수집·저장하지 않습니다.
1. 기기에 저장되는 정보
- 로컬 저장: 게임 기록·언어·싱크 보정값 등 설정은 기기 내부에만 저장되고 개발자 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 앱 삭제 시 함께 삭제됩니다.
- SHORT 영상: 이용자가 직접 만들 때만 기기의 Movies/WhenTheBeats 폴더에 저장되며, 개발자에게 전송되지 않습니다. 저장된 영상은 앱을 삭제해도 남을 수 있으며 기기의 갤러리·파일 앱에서 지울 수 있습니다. Android 9 이하에서는 이 저장을 위해서만 저장공간 쓰기 권한을 사용합니다.
- 알림: 7일 동안 앱을 열지 않았을 때 한 번 알려 주는 용도로만 씁니다(설정에서 끌 수 있음).
- 인앱결제: 광고 제거 구매는 Google Play 가 처리하며, 개발자는 결제 수단 정보를 받지 않습니다.

When The Beats works without any account or sign-in, and the developer does not directly collect or store information that identifies you, such as your name or email address.
1. Information stored on your device
- Local storage: game records, language, sync calibration and other settings are stored only on your device, are not sent to the developer's servers, and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
- SHORT videos: saved to your device's Movies/WhenTheBeats folder only when you make one; nothing is sent to the developer. Saved videos may remain after you uninstall the app and can be deleted in your gallery or files app. On Android 9 and below, the storage write permission is used only for this.
- Notifications: used only for a single reminder if you have not opened the app for 7 days (can be turned off in Settings).
- In-app purchase: the ad-removal purchase is processed by Google Play; the developer does not receive your payment details.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
- The app shows Google AdMob ads (banner, interstitial and rewarded). Ads are not displayed while you are playing a game.
- AdMob may collect the Advertising ID, device information, app usage information and approximate location based on IP to serve and measure ads (per Google policy).

- Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) asks for your ad consent, which you can change later.

- To improve the app, Firebase Analytics may collect app usage statistics (app interactions such as launches and screen use, and device identifiers).

4. Third parties
- Other than ads (AdMob and its mediation partners Unity Ads and Liftoff Monetize), analytics (Firebase) and payments (Google Play) above, no data is shared with third parties.
5. Children
- This app is intended for general users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children. The developer does not directly collect children's personal information.
6. Data retention and deletion
- Records and settings are not retained by the developer; they stay on this device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
- Advertising and analytics data are handled under each provider's policy.
