About this app

DKCAM is a film camera for people who would rather shoot slowly than see every shot instantly.

Load a roll, turn the crank to wind the film, then look through the viewfinder and set the shutter speed, aperture and ISO yourself. A light meter needle shows you the right exposure. Press the shutter — click — the screen goes dark for a moment and you are back at the camera body. Wind again before the next frame.

When the roll is finished, send it to the lab. Six hours later the canister opens and your negatives come out first. Six hours after that, your prints arrive.

· A real light meter reads your scene — get the exposure wrong and your photo comes out darker or brighter
· 20 DKfilm stocks — color, black & white, slide and special films, 24 or 36 exposures each
· The lab: negatives 6 hours after you send a roll, prints at 12 hours, a notification at each step, and both can be saved to your gallery
· Trade film tickets for the stocks you like and keep them in your film box
· Photos are stored only on your device
· 12 languages — choose yours in the app settings
