Match a letter with the same letter, or a letter with its reading. The moment you match it, you see it once more.

■ Three steps
Script pair, then reading, then katakana. Katakana comes after hiragana.

■ Letters you miss come back
They return after a gap. Letters you have learned drop out, and only the ones you confuse stay in.

■ Nine lenses
Five sets of picture cards, plus pictograms, numbers, the alphabet, and Japanese kana. The same rule works for all of them.
